Weed and Seed Initiative
| This project seeks to build capacities within Highland Park’s Weed and Seed Initiative to use the wealth of available data and computer mapping technologies to more effectively target law enforcement and community development resources and to enhance program evaluation efforts. Weed and Seed partners across the board have begun to share data on a regular basis to inform program planning and problem-solving. The Wayne County Sheriff is providing location-specific crime and arrest data. The Detroit Police Department is providing data on locations and types of 911 emergency calls for police service. Wayne County’s Tax Assessor is providing current property ownership data. |  |
