Habitat for Humanity

The purpose of the project was to provide a current snapshot of housing and environmental conditions in a neighborhood where Habitat for Humanity is planning to build homes during The 2004 Blitz Build event. Held the week of July 10-16, 2004, the 2004 Blitz Build houses will be built on Jane Street on Detroit's east side next to Habitat Detroit's Operations Center (between Gratiot & Chalmers off Houston-Whittier). Families will occupy the newly built homes within 30 days of project.
