Commercial Properties Survey
| The purpose of the project was to provide a current snapshot of commericial property conditions along Gratiot and 7 Mile roads in Northeast Detroit. Twelve youth under the supervision of DCI staff and Wayne State University researchers conducted a survey using portable computing devices, GIS software and GPS receivers. Digital photos of all commericial properties were taken to identify vacant properties and other problems such as graffiti and blight. |  |
